However, there is a high possibility that the country's growth rate will be very slow because of its inability to contain the high debts it has incurred, natural disasters such as drought and uncontrollable external uncertainties (OECD economic surveys, 2013). In any country that has faced with major disasters it is always a challenge to go back to the sustainable living conditions as well as a balanced economy.New Zealand has been affected by globalization in many sectors of its economy .Tourism is one of them and although it has been a challenge globalization has made possible for New Zealand to be able to show its interests externally. New Zealand is a small country and hence its very small economy .It is mostly know n for agriculture such as paper, food, and wood (Robert, 2006). Over the years, New Zealand has been successful in business and in tourism by concentrating international business to make sure they attract visitors who are highly valued. Globalization is both risky and also a chance of many opportunities and hence leading to a possibility of high benefits (Wayne, 2007) .For New Zealand being able to attract high class tourist it has to concentrate on improving certain issues that are crucial. One of them is education, quality education is a great investment and so they have to make sure it internationally approved and recognized. The other one is trying to increase innovation and open opportunities for people to show their innovative ideas and skill, which will take the country to the next level and hence increase chances of high-end investors. It is also important for the country to improve its infrastructure because it will benefit them in achieving a good perception from internati onal interests (Wayne, 2007).In year 1900 New Zealand was fighting in its very first war and later wins, its first political party was a liberal party in 1891, and it was effective and helpful. It helped in representing workers and also come to a decision and started trade unions. Later, it formed National party after merging liberal and reform parties. In 1959 the was Keith Holyoake said that the National party believed in owning property and insisted on reducing the interference of human right at all costs. It has progressed since then and many parties have been formed to promote their ideologies, which they believe is not well spelled out by the existing parties. Maori party is one example, it was formed in 2004.In 1950s the New Zealand government was very interested in promoting investment and the government generously offered electricity at a cheaper price to ease the heavy burden costs in invention and infrastructure. The government was determined to make sure that full potent ial was exploited and that they would be able to trade internationally. Everything is connected, according to Maori .Land, sea, air is connected hence the environment is connected to people. In 1800s, there were disasters, so many until measure were taken to make sure that dint happen again. Ships were built from iron or steel, steam engines that were very powerful to make sure they never got in trouble again. In addition, lighthouses were built. Detailed maps were made to be surer on the direction and location, and more tugs were made to tow ships at the port. Breakwaters were made so that harbor waters were calmer. Tragic events happened, a ship wrecked and many people died, there was a huge earthquake and claimed so many lives and then the fire broke out due to the earthquakes. The earthquake destroyed so many landmarks in the city and popular tourist attraction places were also destroyed. The company has since recovered and they are new construction taking place.Every country is known for a certain sport or other social activities. New Zealand is known for Rugby, it can be called the number one sport and hence very import to the countrys national identity. There are famous people from the country musicians like Kiri Te Kanawa who was known internationally and performed for Charles and Lady Diana in a church and subsequently was made Dame of the British Empire by Queen Elizabeth 11.They are other heroes who have done the country proud internationally like Sir Edmund Hillary.New Zealand has chosen to concentrate on acquiring more exhibits and also establish new galleries. It has been discovered that art societies have brought about new membership, new clubs, societies and hence the birth of clubs in the club. This is important for any country since it increases the chance of a wide market internationally. Now, there are more people coming up to be professional artists and actually earn a living at it, which never use to happen before.New Zealand has come a l ong way, it has a bright future, and it is growing tremendously well in all sectors. However, it does have some challenges like low export growth, lower labour productivity due to lower per capital per worker and the fact that the country is in isolation. Unemployment is another challenge in New Zealand that has been since 1990 to date .This country needs very elaborative regulations on how to be able effectively compete internationally. They have to find a favorable way to be able to be in the market with the big players like Australia.New Zealand is benefiting from the market trends like global cruise market especially 2012, 2013.there has been an increase in passengers, and this is good because it will increase revenue and the tourism market as whole. In recent times, Australia has been an important market for New Zealand because it is among the world s fastest growing cruise source markets and year 2008, it took over from America. The other trends that could largely benefit New Zealand are building of bigger cruise ships. This has potential to increase the number of visitors in the country.
